Where did the warm weather go?

Here are some pictures from some of our warmer days over here in the desert. But since the middle of May it hasnt really been warm here. The weather just isnt very nice. I want summer and so do the boys. They love to play outside!! Especially in the water!

We are heading to Spokane yet again this weekend, but it should be the last weekend that we need to be there to work on the house. We plan on putting it on the market come June 16th. That will be a huge relief once its on the market and then SOLD! I just hope it doesnt take long because we will be paying 1 mortgage and 1 rent payment until its sold, and that doesnt sound like any fun. We do look forward to looking for a new house down here and hope that we will be able to stay in the school district that we are in now. I dont want to move Hunters schools again.
Today was the last day of school for Hunter, he said that he didnt want school to end. I just hope he keeps that attitude for the remainder of his school years. He has been acting a little weird today and we think its because school ended. He is just super sensitive and sad. After school got out at 12:00 today we took him to lunch at Famous Daves because he wanted chicken and fries and then one of his classmates was having a Party, so we drop him off there for 3 hours. He said he had a lot of fun.
And as for Parker he didnt want school to end either, but his was over a few weeks ago. He asks me everyday that Hunter went to school if he also had school that day. He just didnt get that his was over. Now that Hunter is home from school he wont ask me that question in the morning. I just have to keep them busy with stuff this summer and not cooped up in the house. Which will be challenging since I work from home.
Lastly, my dad graduates from college on Friday! Congrats DAD! We are proud of you!! I know you worked really hard to get your degree!

Gotta love the weather.....

Its been awhile, but I think I say that everytime I blog. Nothing too eventful going on with us. We went yesterday and got 3 boxes of asparagus to pickle. We were only going to get 2 boxes but they made us a deal on the price if we bought one more. So we spent the rest of our day canning 40...yes 40 jars of pickled asparagus. I dont like asparagus but Kris and the kids love it. Maybe I will have to try it pickled?? Since I worked so hard on it. We cant wait to can more. Both Kris and I enjoy it, and the kids love to eat it.

We are heading to Spokane on Thursday this week to work on our house and I have a few work appointments. Hopefully we can get a lot of stuff done on the house. Im so done with this project. I just want to put it on the market and have it sell fast!!!

Hunter has 2.5 weeks left of school and Parker graduates from Pre-school this Thursday. Im going to have to go get them things to keep them busy this summer. Ive been buying them toys to play in the yard, but since our yard doesnt have a fence all the neighbors come out and they all fight over the new toys. Do I make my kids share? or tell the other kids to go get their own toys?? It drives me nuts that non of the neighbors parents step in and tell their kids to back off. But I think Im the only one that really watches the kids play outside or check on them. I always seem to be the referee.

Thats all I have for now....enjoy the lovely weather!

Allergic...

OK so today we got the results of Parkers allergy tests and he is allergic to dogs and cats. UGH! Thankfully we dont have any animals, but everyone in our extended family have dogs. I have some more questions about it, but the nurse couldnt answer them. So I will either try and research on-line or make Parker another doctors appointment. Well that answers our questions as to why he always seems to get sick when we go out of town.

The boys have been begging to get an animal, so Kris and I were a little releaved because we cant get an animal now. Parker was sad when I told him today and Hunter just said so I guess we have to get a bunny. UGH! I dont want any rodents, reptiles, or birds. The hermit crab (Bob) we had was fine. Maybe I can talk them into another one of those :)

Here is just a random picture from Easter! Arent they cute!!

Proud!

Ok its been awhile since Ive posted. Im going to try and do better at posting on here. I always think I dont have a lot to say, but if I think really hard I should be able to come up with something.

On Monday we went to WSU Tri-cities to see Hunters art work on display. He was one of about 7 other 2nd graders from his school chosen to have his work displayed. He was funny because he didnt even know what he had in the show. His art teacher said she chose it because she thought it was so pretty. What an honor. We were proud of him. He loves art. He has always liked to draw or craft with me.

I wasnt able to get a very good picture because his was at the very top of the display. Enjoy!!

Now for a Parker update....he is doing a lot better. His little lungs are just so sensitive. He keeps running to me telling me his heart is Beeping fast. He doesnt understand that his heart is suppose to "Beep", just not rapidly for a long period of time. Tonight is the last time he will have to take his antibiotic. He is good about it though. At this point he is the one that reminds us that he needs to take his medicine again. Here is a picture of him in the hospital.
Well that about all I know. We will be in Spokane this weekend again! But we arent scheduling anything because this trip is to work on the house only!!!!! I have found a realtor and she is going to meet us at the house on Monday to take a look and give advise on what to fix and what not to fix. Which will be so helpful because Im at a loss at what would be a good selling point and what isnt. Hopefully we will get a big chunk of stuff done. Our goal is to put it on the market by June 1st.
